Coffee!

Coffee is a great pick me up regardless of whether you’re up for two days searching for the right catering service in San Diego for your important event, or you’ve been awake 18 hours to attend a 24 hour live stream, and need that boost to get through the last four hours.

So we all know that coffee can help us keep awake during a long day(s), but there are a plethora of other great reasons to drink coffee besides that energy boost, such as the research that has shown links between drinking coffee and lowering the risk of liver disease and even helping prevent diabetes.

But coffee goes beyond just the liver and pancreas, and today we’ll be listing some of the most amazing reasons you should drink coffee.

  1. Coffee and Cognitive Decline

Regular consumption of coffee may prevent decline in brain activity related to types of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s. A study done in Finland found that drinking 3 to 5 cups of coffee daily can decrease risk of dementia by 65%. Though unluckily for tea lovers, when the Finnish researchers checked to see if tea had the same properties, they found it did not.

Danish researchers pretty much identified that coffee is a really awesome drink to enjoy, in moderation.

The study was conducted with data collected from almost 40,000 people over 13 years, revealed that ‘2 to 4 cups a day’ coffee drinkers had a 20 percent decreased risk of heart disease compared to heavy, light, and non-coffee drinkers.

Sometimes you just can’t get the energy to perform well at the gym, even if you had a hearty meal two hours ago at some restaurant in San Diego, your body might still say “No”, but thankfully, coffee can be of help!

Caffeine helps the body send signals to break down fat cells as well as increase the body’s Adrenaline levels, which helps prepare our body for stressful physical action that leads to an increase in performance as well.

4.  Coffee and Depression
