Pre-Workout. People tend to underestimate the pre-workout warm up, either giving it minimal time or skipping it altogether. But doing so may put you at risk for muscle tears and strain, try gentle movements and work your pace up, to prepare your muscles before jumping into a more rigorous workout. So increase you stretching out session to get your muscles warm and ready for action.

Find your balance.Don’t overdo yourself but also don’t take it to lightly, find middle grounds, you can take advice from your gym’s fitness instructor to help determine the goals that are right for you depending on your age and fitness level.

The Zombies, Run! Story is highly addictive and always keeps wanting for more so you’ll definitely be on your toes waiting for the next run. The app has a wicked cool feature that enables you to see your running route and track your pace during different missions. You can even see which songs had you running faster! Which you could incorporate to help you pump up your run in relative scenarios.

Ever dreamt of solo camping in the Isle of Skye? How about hiking through the European wild by yourself or with a friend, all your personal belongings in a 35 liter backpack safely adjusted to your back, the jingling of your magnesium fire starter drowned out by nature’s ambience.

Or maybe you just have an interest in such things from a purely educational point, either way is cool.

But how does one find a source of information regarding such things? Well, considering this is the internet, pretty easily, but we also want the best of the best, the most engaging content that will really make learning about Bushcraft and/or the natural world more interesting.

Starting off with the funniest and most entertaining of our list, Alfie is a UK based Bushcraft and wilderness survival expert who started making videos back in 2012. His videos range from reviewing survival gear to how-tos for natural water filters, and campfire techniques, but his main series is a set of 15 videos (so far) known as CampAesthetics. Usually shown from a first person point-of-view, CampAesthetics’ main commentary involves Alfie’s humorous, yet informative insights on many different bits of natural life and living; from edible wild flowers to combustible fungi to shelter building, the show is a great experience all around to view. Unfortunately, he takes ages to upload a single video, so watch out for that.

I would call it an extremely fun learning experience and the first channel you should check out.

“I’m a UK based outdoorsman who started hunting and fishing with my friends when I was young.  Educating yourself about your surroundings and having the core skills to sustain yourself using your environment is a lost curriculum in the United Kingdom. Michael McQuilton started uploading videos in 2013, and since then has created a comprehensive set of playlists with detailed knowledge of wilderness survival. He’s also the best for beginners as he has an entire series dedicated to teaching newcomers to the world of Bushcraft and all of its intricacies titled Bushcraft Basics, which includes a total of 20 videos that will let you know everything from Land Access laws, to getting a good backpack, to med-kits, and so much more. If you want a starting point with pure knowledge being directed to you, start with Michael.

The most established YouTube channel on this list, Lily has been releasing videos for 5 years now, and boy does she cover a huge amount of survival information; clothing, food, weapons, shelters, flashlights, heck she even has a video of how to make a slingshot! This is definitely the channel I would recommend to those more familiar with Bushcraft and Wilderness Survival, but beginners don’t be scared to check out her content, I guarantee she will teach you something you never knew.
